Stephanie Adams moved from New Zealand in 2013 to study Music Theatre at Federation University in Ballarat in the graduating class of 2015. While attending this course her theatre credits include “Smash Hit” (Doctor), “Urinetown” (Hope Understudy), “Thoroughly Modern Millie” (Mathilde, Miss Dorothy Understudy, Alice Understudy, Ethel Peas Understudy). She also performed and wrote her own cabaret “Gingernuts!” which had successful seasons in both Ballarat and Melbourne.
Prior to attending Federation University, Stephanie performed professionally in the Will Martin concert series; was a finalist in the TVNZ’s “Find A Star” competition and was awarded a scholarship from The New Zealand Singing School. There, she received the advantage of mentoring from Broadway performing artist Liz Callaway.
Stephanie is particularly invested in the development, nurturing and inspiration of young talent. For this reason she currently sits in a management position for a New Zealand-based company “Artz On Show”, one of most renowned children’s Music Theatre School.
Aside from musical theatre she is passionate about tea, coffee, good food, cats, red wine and living a very Melbournian-style life that makes her and the people around her happy and fulfilled.
