Pia Frangiosa discovered a true desire for Musical Theatre at the age of 8, originating her performance experience through Fame Theatre Company based in Brisbane, Queensland. Touring both professional and amateur children’s theatre productions, Pia’s performance experience led to the completion of her Certificate IV inMusical Theatre in 2012.
Continuing down the path of tertiary education, Pia was accepted into the Queensland Conservatorium’s Bachelor of Musical Theatre program. Here, she performed in productions such as Roger and Hammerstein’s classic “Oklahoma!" (Laurey Williams), Schwartz's "Godspell” (Anna-Maria) and under international direction, Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers (Mrs Lyons). Her experience through the university extended to events such as The Queensland Tourism Awards and The Brisbane Festival as well as developing new work under collaboration with the university. Fresh out of the Conservatorium, she performed in Wax Lyrical Productions "Carrie" the horror-tragedy musical (Frieda) at The Brisbane Powerhouse.
